Lake Lure’s 720 acres are filled with cool mountain water from the Rocky Broad River, making it an ideal location for lake and stream fishing.  With 21 miles of shoreline and over 100 feet at the deepest point, Lake Lure offers outstanding fishing opportunities for large and small mouth bass, white bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill and perch.  The nearby Rocky Broad River provides outstanding fly-fishing for rainbow and brown trout.
